WHS&M is proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program, the most comprehensive effort of its kind to open doors to arts and culture experiences for low-income families. EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare card holders can participate in our Historic Walking Tours for free and receive discounts on all of our other paid programs.

Directions

The Wellfleet Historical Society & Museum is located at 262 Main Street in the Village of Wellfleet just around the corner from Town Hall.

From the South:

Follow Route 6 north into Wellfleet, turn left onto Main Street at the second set of lights (there is green highway sign for Wellfleet Center at the intersection). The Museum is on your right, 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers), from Route 6.

From the North:

Follow Route 6 south into Wellfleet, turn right at the second set of traffic lights (there is green highway sign for Wellfleet Center at the intersection). The Museum is on your right, 0.5 miles (0.8 kilometers), from Route 6.

Parking

Free 2 and 4-Hour Parking is available behind Town Hall, just past the Museum on the right. There are well-marked stairs in the southeast corner of the lot that lead directly to the Museum.
